Document Purpose
This document defines the Terms & Conditions governing admission, registration, training, examinations, certification, payments, medical fitness, student conduct, and related policies applicable to all applicants, candidates, and students enrolled at HDS RPTO.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 Every applicant shall carefully read and understand these Terms & Conditions before submitting the registration form.
1.2 Submission of the registration form and payment of the prescribed fee shall be deemed as the applicant's unconditional acceptance of all HDS RPTO policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
1.3 No applicant shall be permitted to claim ignorance of these Terms & Conditions after successful registration.
2. Eligibility for Registration
The applicant shall:
- Meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by HDS RPTO.
- Submit genuine and valid identity proof, address proof, educational qualification documents, passport-size photographs, and all other required documents.
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Submit only authentic documents. Submission of forged, altered, or misleading documents shall result in immediate cancellation of admission without refund and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
3. Medical Fitness Requirement
3.1 Every candidate shall undergo the prescribed medical fitness examination before commencing practical flight training.
3.2 The Medical Fitness Examination shall be conducted by a registered medical practitioner or hospital as specified by HDS RPTO.
3.3 The candidate must be declared "Medically Fit" to participate in practical flying activities.
3.4 Candidates declared medically unfit shall not be permitted to undertake practical flight training until a valid medical fitness certificate declaring them fit is submitted.
3.5 HDS RPTO shall not be responsible for any delay arising due to medical unfitness.
4. Background Verification & Document Verification
Every candidate shall successfully complete:
- Identity Verification
- Document Verification
- Background Verification, wherever applicable
- Record Verification
- Any additional verification required by HDS RPTO or the competent authority
Admission may be cancelled if any adverse information or false declaration is identified.
5. Registration Protocol
Registration shall be considered complete only after:
- Submission of the completed application form.
- Submission of all mandatory documents.
- Successful verification of documents.
- Medical fitness compliance (where applicable).
- Payment of all prescribed fees.
- Acceptance of all Terms & Conditions.
- Batch allocation by HDS RPTO.
Only after completion of the above requirements shall the candidate be treated as an officially enrolled student.
6. Payment Policy
6.1 All fees shall be paid as prescribed by HDS RPTO.
6.2 Registration shall remain provisional until the prescribed payment has been successfully received.
6.3 Once the payment has been received and a training batch has been allotted, the fee shall be strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Voluntary withdrawal.
- Change of personal plans.
- Employment commitments.
- Medical reasons.
- Failure to attend training.
- Failure to complete training.
- Failure in examinations.
- Transfer requests.
- Any personal or financial reasons.
6.4 Batch transfer, if permitted by HDS RPTO, shall be entirely at the discretion of the management and may attract applicable administrative charges.
7. Attendance Requirement
Students shall maintain the minimum attendance prescribed by HDS RPTO and applicable DGCA requirements.
Failure to maintain the required attendance may result in:
- Suspension from examinations.
- Delay in practical training.
- Delay in certification.
- Requirement to undergo additional classes.
- Requirement to repeat training sessions.
Attendance records maintained by HDS RPTO shall be treated as final.
8. Theory Training Requirements
Students shall:
- Attend all scheduled theory classes.
- Complete all assignments and assessments.
- Participate in internal evaluations.
- Meet the minimum qualifying requirements prescribed by HDS RPTO.
9. Practical Flight Training
Practical flight training shall be conducted strictly according to:
- DGCA guidelines
- HDS RPTO Standard Operating Procedures
- Safety Procedures
- Instructor directions
Students shall comply with all operational safety instructions at all times.
Unsafe conduct may result in suspension or termination from the training programme.
10. Examination Policy
Students shall appear for all examinations prescribed under the training program.
These may include:
- Theory Examination
- Practical Flight Examination
- Skill Assessment
- Oral Assessment (where applicable)
- Internal Assessment
- Final Evaluation
Students must obtain the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by HDS RPTO and applicable DGCA requirements.
11. Failure and Re-Examination
11.1 Candidates who fail in any examination shall not be issued a course completion certificate until the required qualifying standard has been achieved.
11.2 Any student who fails in the theory examination, practical examination, or any mandatory assessment shall be required to reappear for the examination.
11.3 The student shall continue attempting the examination until the prescribed passing marks are obtained for the category of remote pilot certificate or license applied for.
11.4 Re-examination fees, retraining charges, simulator charges, practical flying charges, or any other applicable fees shall be borne entirely by the student.
11.5 HDS RPTO does not guarantee a pass in any examination.
12. Records Clearance
Before issuance of any Course Completion Certificate or recommendation for certification, the student shall complete all required clearances, including:
- Academic Clearance
- Attendance Clearance
- Practical Flight Record Clearance
- Financial Clearance
- Equipment Clearance
- Library Clearance (if applicable)
- Administrative Clearance
- Training Record Verification
- Any other clearance prescribed by HDS RPTO
Incomplete records may delay certification.
13. Student Conduct
Students shall:
- Follow all institutional rules.
- Respect instructors and staff.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Avoid misconduct, harassment, violence, intoxication, or any unlawful activity.
- Protect training equipment and property.
Serious misconduct may result in disciplinary action, suspension, expulsion, or cancellation of admission.
14. Certification
Successful completion of training does not automatically guarantee issuance of any licence or regulatory approval.
Certificates shall only be issued after:
- Successful completion of all training.
- Passing all required examinations.
- Completion of mandatory attendance.
- Medical fitness compliance.
- Record clearance.
- Financial clearance.
- Compliance with applicable DGCA requirements.
15. Limitation of Liability
HDS RPTO shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or modifications to training arising from:
- Weather conditions
- Government orders
- DGCA directives
- Technical failures
- Force majeure events
- Equipment maintenance
- Airspace restrictions
- Public emergencies
- Any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of HDS RPTO
16. Amendments
HDS RPTO reserves the right to modify, revise, update, or amend these Terms & Conditions, training policies, fee structures, operational procedures, or academic requirements at any time in accordance with institutional needs and applicable regulatory requirements.
